Wang Zhenyi (astronomer)

Wang Zhenyi (1768–1797) was a Chinese astronomer. One of the craters of Venus was named after her.

Wang Zhenyi published twelve works about astronomy and mathematics. She published studies about gravitiation, and particularly studied the eclipses of the moon. Wang Zhenyi also defended women's rights to study.
